Filters, are undoubtedly, the most popular consumable parts in any vehicle. Their timely replacement extends life of vehicle's parts and helps to avoid major breakdowns. Oil filters
Serve to clean motor oil from combustion, wear and tear products and other substances forming up in motor oil during engine's operation. Though Finwhale oil filters are intended for long use, we suggest that you have them replaced in accordance with your vehicle manual's recommendations.
Design properties
Filters are solid, filter base is roll forged to the housing and fitted with a gasket. The housing is electroplated on both sides for anti corrosion protection and is additionally painted from outside. Filter elements are made of special paper with same technology as used by the leading OEMs. To increase surface of media the paper is star-shaped and glued to metal brackets with a sealant in a furnace by a special technology.

Fuel filters
Secondary fuel filters serve to remove mechanical admixtures and water from fuel. Filters are mounted after fuel pump and prevent nozzles from plugging, hence assuring cleanliness and longevity of vehicle's fuel system. Design properties Housing of Finwhale filters is made of aluminum alloy which gives products light weight and anti corrosion properties. Filter elements are made of special paper with same technology as used by the leading OEMs. Actual micron rating is 3.54 micron at a maximum rated efficiency of 10 micron.

Air filters
Automotive air filters serve to clean air supplied to the engine's cylinders. Quality of air filtration is crucial for life of cylinders, pistons and air flow meter.
Design properties
Filter elements are made of special paper folded to obtain maximum area of filtration. Paper folds are fastened with elastic polymer bonds forming filter's base with walls. The filter design provides for stiffness, easiness of replacement and tight fit inside the housing. TWA (time weighted average) efficiency on dust is 0.57% (at rated efficiency of 1%).

Cabin filters
Cabin and air conditioner filters serve to clean air supplied into the cabin. Filters are fitted before the heater's air intake to keep off dust, pollen, soot and other contaminants from the vehicle's ventilation system. Filters with additional activated carbon layer are capable to retain odors as well.
Design properties
Filter elements are made of special electrostaticly charged paper impregnated with phenolic aldehyde polymers, same technology as leading automakers use. TWA is 0.8 micron at maximum rated efficiency of 2 micron. Premium quality filters also have a secondary filtration layer of activated carbon.

Production and quality control
Most recent OEM technologies are used in filter production. All production stages and suppliers are ISO 9001 compliant. While cutting inner thread in oil filters no metal shavings go inside finished product. Air and fuel filters are checked for size of the media, leak proofness and air tightness of housing. Cabin air filters are also carefully tested for size of the media and geometry.
