Xinhua news agency, Kiev, April (reporter Chen Junfeng) 26 (reporter Chen Junfeng) Poroshenko, Ukraine President Poroshenko inspected the Chernobyl nuclear power station forbidden zone on 26, said that the Ukraine is constantly improving the relevant laws on nuclear waste, in order to improve the safety of the peaceful use of nuclear energy.

April 26th this year marks the 32nd anniversary anniversary of the Chernobyl nuclear power plant accident. Poroshenko went to the local nuclear accident memorial to present flowers, mourning the victims of the nuclear accident.

Poroshenko told the media during the inspection process: "we are continuing to improve the legislation on nuclear waste. The Ukrainian side has invited experts from Holland, France, Germany, Spain and Sweden to carry out fruitful work together with Ukrainian experts. He said that strengthening the social security of the victims of the Chernobyl nuclear accident and strengthening the safety of production in the field of nuclear energy is one of the priorities of the Wudang Bureau.

Poroshenko also wrote on the face book on the same day: "in addition to not forgetting the lessons of the accident in Chernobyl nuclear power station and preventing similar disasters, we will also make efforts to build the forbidden zone of the Chernobyl nuclear power station into a new technology area, making a benign change here."

It is reported that Ukraine plans to build large solar power stations in the forbidden area of Chernobyl nuclear power plant, so that it can become a green energy development center.

In April 26, 1986, the 4 unit reactor in the Soviet Chernobyl nuclear power plant, located in northern Ukraine near the Belarus border, suddenly exploded, killing 30 people on the spot and leaking more than 8 tons of strong radiation. The accident caused more than 60 thousand square kilometres of land around the nuclear power plant to be polluted, and about 3200000 people were violated by nuclear radiation in varying degrees, becoming the most serious accident in the history of the peaceful use of nuclear energy.
